Russ Miller decided, on his 40th birthday, that he would devote himself to his passion for filmmaking. He gave himself a year to plan, fund, and flesh out how to make his dream a reality. On his 41st birthday, he left his full-time job and founded Prime Numbers Films.

Prime Numbers Films believes in creating films that are not only remarkable, but marketable. We create feature-length, short, animated and live-action moving pictures that are comedic, touching or a little of both--but we always create visual inspiring,  top-notch product. We proudly produce our own content and are also for hire.

Let’s get in touch

Russ Miller - Owner/Editor

Russ has 15 years of high-end Film/Video visual effects (VFX) and production/post-production experience with close ties to the San Francisco Bay Area and Hollywood entertainment industries. An accomplished and accredited VFX artist and motion picture and broadcast editor, Russ was a principal in a post-production subsidiary division of Buder, Engel + Friends. See: An Advertising Agency and OWN+P.

Russ successfully managed design and imaging bureaus as well as multimedia and interactive projects such as Zefer, Inc., Big Red Pixel Productions, Inc., and multiple independent productions. Born with a camera in his hand and a hard-drive in his pocket, Russ doubles as technology officer. Russ expertly maximizes budget versus performance in the technical arena, which is particularly important when money is tight and expectations are high. Russ’s film accomplishments include the highly acclaimed "Cicada Princess" and "Kilo" as editor and "Rollerball" as a compositor, as well as editing and finishing countless commercials and corporate videos for Salesforce, Apple, AAA, Electronic Arts, and more. Russ also has swung a camera in campaigns for Marble Technology and The Exploratorium. He’s a good dude, who appreciates good work, good food and riding bicycles with his family.

Erin Rickard - Writer

Erin Rickard has been writing, editing, and otherwise inserting herself into various stages of broadcast production, teaching and being a know-it-all since 2004.

Currently, Erin has written original screenplays for "3 EZ Payments," "Quest for BIG" and is adapting her debut novel "Blessed City Six" for the screen.

Erin prefers things that are a bit off-center, silly, and strange. She can be found lurking in Philadelphia.

Jenna Davi - Production Coordinator

Jenna is beyond excited and grateful to be a part of the PNF team and cannot wait for the world to experience the many stories we have in store.

Jenna is an actress, creative and lover of life with an entrepreneurial drive and artistic spirit. She has performed in several cities across multiple countries.  She can be heard as a voice actress and seen on stage in plays and musicals as well as in numerous films, on television, in commercials and in print.

When not in front of an audience or a camera she is behind the scenes as a production coordinator and writer.  In her downtime she leads retreats at surf and yoga destinations all over the world. She has often been told that she can only pursue one passion at a time... she disagrees.
